The ‘Amby Jump Jump’ has many great benefits

The Amby Jump Jump is great value, easy to use, portable, suitable for inside and outside AND IS FABULOUS FUN. There are also many developmental benefits from gently swaying and jumping in the Amby Jump Jump.

The up and down movement created when your baby uses the Amby Jump Jump sends strong sensory messages to your child’s brain. Such movement activities stimulate the vestibular system (inner ear). This stimulation assists the growth of pathways in the brain - aiding development.

The Amby Jump Jump will help your child develop muscle tone (important to all gross motor functions), movement, spatial awareness, balance, eye tracking, posture and co-ordination.

Generally our customers use the Amby Jump Jump from when their child is around 3 months of age (only when they have strengthened their neck muscles and able to hold up their head) until around the time when their child begins to walk.

We suggest that you may like to place different materials on the floor under your child’s feet for a different tactile experience (eg. sheepskin, plastic, a pillow or music mat) or take the Amby Jump Jump outside to experience jumping on grass or perhaps on sand if you have a sandpit.

We also suggest that you position the height of the harness so your child’s toes can touch and push off from the floor and that you keep adjusting it as your child grows.

Only let your child jump for short periods of time (short bursts more frequently is recommended) and remove your child if they become unhappy.

The spring is rated to 20kg. A second spring may be required for more robust and energetic children.

Never leave any child unattended while in the Amby Jump Jump.
